Job summary

CHRISTUS St. Vincent in Santa Fe, NM seeks a full-time nurse practitioner to provide outpatient primary care, including prenatal and some acute visits, with follow-up from ER/hospital.

The NP will take medical histories, perform exams, order labs and imaging, diagnose, and develop treatment plans, including prescribing medications. The position offers a Monday–Friday eight-hour day schedule or four ten-hour days, with a telephone-only on-call rotation and a competitive salary and benefits

Qualifications

• NP certified and state medical license.

Summary:
We're seeking a fulltime NP to provide outpatient primary care. This is a dynamic job opportunity that will provide prenatal, some acute, same day visits for the clinician group, follow-up visits from the ER/hospital and a small panel of primary care patients. The NP will be responsible for obtaining an accurate medical history, performing appropriate examinations, ordering laboratory and radiologic tests if needed, establishing a diagnosis, and implementing a treatment plan which may include prescribing medications.
