Qualifications

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Texas.
• Master's degree in nursing or a related field.
• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Proven experience working as a Nurse Practitioner in a healthcare setting.
• Excellent knowledge of medical practices, treatments, and procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical assessments on patients, including obtaining detailed medical histories.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work, imaging, and EKGs.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions, as well as provide preventive care.
• Develop and implement patient care plans, including medication management and lifestyle modifications.
• Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including documenting patient visits, assessments, and interventions.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and stay current with advances in medical knowledge and research.
• Adhere to all applicable legal and ethical standards in patient care, while promoting patient confidentiality and privacy.
