Job summary

NYU Langone Family Health Centers at Park Slope is seeking a Manager Nurse Practitioner to lead nursing care quality at the site and participate in the site leadership team. The role includes supervising staff, recruiting and training, and providing primary care at least one session per week.

The candidate will oversee scheduling, budgeting, and coordination with interdisciplinary teams, while promoting a safe, patient-centered environment. Master’s in Nursing and NYS NP license are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing required.
• Three years of ambulatory care experience required.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs staff and ensures the quality of nursing care at the site.
• Provides direct patient care onsite as needed for triage or care coordination.
• Conducts daily huddles and promotes a multidisciplinary team approach to care and education.
• Monitors quality improvement activities and supports staff in problem solving.
• Attends monthly Network meetings and collaborates with related departments.
