Cherokee Nation is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for the Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) in Seattle, Washington. The role involves conducting medical histories and assessments for military applicants and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

This position is restricted to U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents. Documentation of citizenship or permanent residency must be provided to qualify.
Estimated starting salary range: $120,000–$130,000 per year, pay commensurate with experience.

Master's or Doctoral Degree in Nurse Practitioner program accredited by ANCC or ANPCP.
Board certified in one of the following advanced practice nursing programs: Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP), Adult-Gerontology NP, or Acute Care NP.
Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in any of the 50 states or U.S. territories.
Minimum one (1) year post‑graduate experience in direct patient care within the last three years.
Experience in MEPS facilities is preferred. Familiarity with military medical standards, medical processing procedures, and the use of military‑specific documentation systems is a plus.
Strong clinical judgment, decision‑making skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in fast‑paced environments.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams and military stakeholders.
