Stability Staffing & Consulting LLC is seeking a Nurse Practitioner/Advanced Practice Clinician to support maternal, infant, child and family health initiatives in the San Antonio metro area. This temporary assignment runs through December 2026 with potential extension and ASAP start.

The APC will provide clinical expertise, education and referrals, collaborating with leaders and community partners to promote positive health outcomes for women, infants and families. 1–2 evenings may be required.

Qualifications

  • Current Texas Nurse Practitioner/APRN license in good standing.
  • National board certification as NP/APN or other qualifying APC.
  • Graduate degree from an accredited NP/APN program.
  • Current BLS certification preferred/required as applicable.
  • Experience with maternal, infant, child, family health or public health.
  • Ability to work independently with strong communication with leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical consultation and advanced practice support for maternal, infant, child, and family health.
  • Assess health needs and offer clinical recommendations, education and referrals.
  • Support health education activities for clients, families, staff and community members.
  • Participate in community presentations, outreach and health promotion initiatives.
  • Provide training and clinical guidance to program staff as needed.
  • Collaborate with program leadership, healthcare providers and partners.
  • Document clinical activities accurately and timely per requirements.
  • Attend meetings, case reviews and other program activities.
  • Work some evening events or activities as needed.

Nurse Practitioner / Advanced Practice Clinician (APC)

Location: San Antonio Metro Area
Work Locations: ZIP Codes 78237 and 78220
Employment Type: Temporary
Assignment Duration: Through December 2026, with potential for extension
Start Date: ASAP upon offer
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM–4:30 PM
Flexibility: Must be available to work occasional evenings as needed
Pay: DOE (Depending on Experience)

Position Overview:

Stability Staffing & Consulting is seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner / Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) to support maternal, infant, child, and family health initiatives within a community-based healthcare program in the San Antonio Metro Area.

The APC will provide clinical expertise, health education, consultation, and support to program participants, staff, and community partners. This position will work collaboratively with program leadership and community stakeholders to promote positive health outcomes for women, infants, children, and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical consultation and advanced practice support related to maternal, infant, child, and family health.
  • Assess health needs and provide appropriate clinical recommendations, education, and referrals.
  • Support health education activities for clients, families, staff, and community members.
  • Participate in community presentations, outreach activities, and health promotion initiatives.
  • Provide training and clinical guidance to program staff as needed.
  • Collaborate with program leadership, healthcare providers, and community partners.
  • Assist with identifying health and social needs and connecting participants with appropriate resources.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with applicable requirements.
  • Participate in meetings, case consultations, and other program activities.
  • Work some evening events or activities as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

  • Current Texas Nurse Practitioner/APRN license in good standing.
  • National board certification as a Nurse Practitioner or other qualifying Advanced Practice Clinician.
  • Graduate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner/advanced practice program.
  • Current BLS certification preferred/required as applicable.
  • Experience working with women, infants, children, families, maternal health, public health, community health, or underserved populations preferred.
  • Strong communication, clinical assessment, education, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and community partners.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining strong communication with program leadership.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
  • Must be willing and able to work at locations in ZIP codes 78237 and 78220 and occasionally work evenings.
