Job summary

BrightView LLC in Dayton, Ohio seeks a Nurse Practitioner to join its outpatient addiction treatment team. You will collaborate with a licensed physician to implement treatment plans and inform patients about medical components of care, playing a key role in integrated, high-quality services.

The ideal candidate holds an FNP/APRN license, 3–5 years of experience (1 year in addiction treatment preferred), and DEA licensure as required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Active state licensure (FNP/APRN/CNP/PMHNP).
• 3–5 years’ experience preferred, with at least 1 year in addiction treatment setting.
• D.E.A licensure as required by BrightView.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and develop medical staff in treatment topics.
• Participate in trainings for federal, state, local, and accrediting agencies.
• Develop and present medical education content on substance use disorders and health.
• Provide medical services within the scope of education and training.
• Ensure implementation of medical quality health standards for patients and staff.
• Provide medical input into overall program philosophy and patient care.
• Respond to emergencies with consultation as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, clinics or hospitals in treatment.
• Attend weekly treatment team meetings and trainings.
• Maintain knowledge on drug/alcohol abuse and treatments.
• Build professional relationships with patients and team.
• Ensure accreditation standards are met.
