Job summary

Teladoc Health is seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner to join our virtual care team as a 1099 independent contractor. Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care via telehealth visits across the United States from your home practice.

Requirements include MSN or DNP, active multi-state licensure, DEA registration, and FNP-BC or FNP-C board certification, with 3+ years in urgent care or emergency medicine. Telehealth experience is preferred; 100% remote work is supported nationwide.

We are seeking experienced Family Nurse Practitioners who are board certified through the ANCC (American Nurses Credentialing Center) or AANP (American Association of Nurse Practitioners) and committed to delivering exceptional virtual care experiences.

In this role, you'll deliver comprehensive virtual care through on-demand visits through a variety of modalities to provide patients with timely, convenient care whenever and wherever they need it.

As an independent contractor, you can either add to your current clinical practice or build an entire telemedicine practice depending on the state(s) you are licensed in.

This position supports hiring 100% remote within the U.S.

Required Qualifications

• Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with either a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• 3+ years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner with urgent care or emergency medicine.
• Candidates must hold active, unrestricted licensure in a minimum of four (4) states at the time of hire.
• Must hold an active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA)
• Must hold a nationally NP board certified: FNP-BC or FNP-C
• Previous Telehealth experience preferred.
• Must be eligible for and willing to enroll in applicable state and federal healthcare programs, with no exclusions that would prevent participation.
• Must have a clean professional record with no board disciplinary actions
• Strong clinical decision-making skills and confidence in practicing independently.
• Tech-savvy and adaptable to telehealth platforms and evolving virtual care protocols.
• Passion for creating meaningful patient relationships in a digital environment

The compensation for this position is $12.50/phone consult, $14/video consult, $6/async consult.
