Qualifications

Join Our Growing Team of Nurse Practitioners!

Purpose of the Job:

The Telemedicine Advanced Nurse Practitioner is a fully remote clinical role at the heart of patient care delivery. This nurse practitioner will carry a full telemedicine patient panel, with collaboration of an obesity board certified physician, with a focus on obesity medicine and GLP-1 pharmacotherapy. The ideal candidate brings deep clinical experience treating patients with obesity and an enthusiasm for leveraging technology, including artificial intelligence. This role calls for a nurse practitioner with exceptional interpersonal skills, genuine empathy, and the ability to build meaningful therapeutic relationships in a virtual care environment.

You will be responsible for:

• Managing a telemedicine patient panel in collaboration with an obesity-certified physician, and providing after-hours, holiday and weekend on-call coverage.
• Prescribing and monitoring GLP-1 receptor agonists and other cardiometabolic pharmacotherapies with expertise and clinical judgment
• Building strong, trusting patient relationships through empathetic communication and a compassionate virtual bedside manner
• Embracing and actively utilizing AI-powered clinical tools for documentation, decision support, and patient engagement
• Maintaining active licensure across a minimum of 25 U.S. states, including priority states: CA, CT, DC, DE, FL, GA, IA, MA, MD, NJ, NY, PA, SC, TN, TX, and VA. Licenses financially covered by the company.
• Collaborating with the patient’s entire care team including health coach, registered dietitian and medical assistant.
• Maintaining collaboration agreements with supervising physicians in states without independent practice authority.

Required:

• Active RN and APN licensure in a minimum of 25 U.S. states — Required
• Minimum 2 years of telemedicine clinical practice
• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience treating patients with obesity
• Deep, current expertise in GLP-1 receptor agonist therapy and weight management pharmacotherapy
• Exceptional communication skills and empathetic, patient-centered bedside manner in a virtual setting
• Enthusiasm for AI tools and technology-driven clinical practice
• Willingness to obtain additional state licenses

Preferred:

• Experience in a start-up or high-growth telemedicine environment
• Familiarity with AI clinical decision support tools and EHR workflow automation
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and thrive in a fully remote setting
