Job summary

Cornerstone Treatment Facilities is seeking a Full Time per-diem Nurse Practitioner with either Adult or Family Practice Certification to deliver primary care at our inpatient substance abuse treatment program. The NP will screen admissions, perform history and physicals, and provide sick calls as needed.

Availability on weekends is preferred, and experience in addiction, detox/rehab is required. Requirements include at least 2 years of NP/PA experience, NYS Registration, DEA, Medicaid

Qualifications

• Must hold New York State NP license and DEA registration.
• NYS Medicaid registration and NPI required.
• Infection control certificate and CPR certification required.
• Opioid attestation preferred.
• Experience in addiction, detox or rehab settings is required.

Job description

A respected leader and innovator in the chemical dependency treatment field for more than 25 years, Cornerstone Treatment Facilities Network has been helping people change their lives by providing them with the tools for a healthy, happy and drug-free existence.

We are seeking Full Time an Per-Diem Nurse Practitioners with either Adult or Family Practice Certification to provide primary care at our inpatient substance abuse treatment program. The Nurse Practitioner works independently to screen patients for admission, perform history and physicals, and provide sick call as needed. The ideal candidate would have availability on weekends. Experience in addiction, as well as in detox/rehab, is required for this position.

Full Time Schedule:

8:30 AM–5:00 PM. Employees work either Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday on an alternating basis, depending on the Saturday rotation.

Requirements are at least 2 years experience working as a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, a current New York State Registration, DEA, NYS Medicaid registration, Infection Control Certificate, CPR Certification, Opioid Attestation, and NPI. Medical malpractice is paid for by the facility.
