Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients seeking medical weight management, hormone replacement therapy, and wellness services.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient history, labs, goals, and standards of care.
• Prescribe and manage weight-management medications when clinically appropriate.
• Provide HRT evaluation, treatment, monitoring, and education.
• Perform IV insertion and administer IV hydration therapies.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients about options, risks, and responsibilities.
• Maintain medical documentation and comply with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with the New Vitality team to ensure a consistent patient experience.
• Support patient education and community initiatives as a clinical representative.

Job description

New Vitality Health & Wellness is expanding, and we are looking for an Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner to join our Tampa practice.

This position is an excellent opportunity for both new graduate and experienced Nurse Practitioners who are passionate about helping patients achieve lasting improvements in their health and well-being. Experience in medical weight management and/or hormone replacement therapy is welcomed but not required, as training, guidance, and support will be provided to help develop confidence and clinical expertise.

We are looking for someone who combines strong clinical judgment with excellent patient communication. Our patients need more than prescriptions. They need a provider who listens, educates, follows their progress, and helps them make informed decisions about their care.

This is a full-time clinical position with a consistent Sunday–Thursday schedule.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate and manage patients seeking medical weight management, hormone replacement therapy, and wellness services.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient history, clinical findings, laboratory results, health goals, and appropriate standards of care.
• Prescribe and manage weight-management medications when clinically appropriate.
• Provide hormone replacement therapy evaluation, treatment, monitoring, and patient education within your scope of practice.
• Perform IV insertion and administer IV hydration therapies.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically indicated.
• Educate patients so they understand their treatment options, expectations, risks, and responsibilities.
• Maintain timely and accurate medical documentation and follow applicable clinical and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with the New Vitality team to provide a consistent patient experience across the practice.
• Participate in patient education and occasional community or social-media initiatives as a clinical representative of the practice.
• Contribute ideas and clinical perspective as New Vitality expands its services and locations.

Required Qualifications

• Current certification as an Adult-Gerontology or Family Nurse Practitioner.
• Active DEA registration.
• Strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and commitment to patient-centered care.
• Excellent patient communication, education, and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop expertise in medical weight management and hormone replacement therapy.
• Ability to work collaboratively while developing confidence in autonomous clinical practice.
• Ability to work the required Sunday–Thursday schedule.
• Ability to work on-site at our Tampa location.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous clinical experience in medical weight management, hormone replacement therapy, primary care, aesthetics, wellness, or a related specialty.
• Experience prescribing and managing medications used in medical weight management.
• Experience evaluating and managing HRT patients.
• Proficiency with IV insertion.
