Job summary

A to Z Management Consulting is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to support the Department of Medicine at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, TX. This on-site role requires providing inpatient and/or outpatient care within approved privileges and collaborating with physicians and nurses to optimize patient outcomes.

Requirements include an accredited NP program, ANCC/AANP certification, an unrestricted US NP license, and 1 year of NP experience in the past 2 years, including at least 6 months

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current NP certification from ANCC, AANP, or equivalent.
• Current, valid, unrestricted NP license in any US state or territory.
• 1 year NP experience within the past 2 years.
• 6 months inpatient experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and/or outpatient medical care within approved scope of practice and clinical privileges.

• Perform examinations, diagnostic assessments, and therapeutic procedures.

A to Z Management Consulting is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to support the Department of Medicine at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and/or outpatient medical care within approved scope of practice and clinical privileges
• Evaluate and manage patients with acute, chronic, and complex medical conditions
• Perform appropriate examinations, diagnostic assessments, and therapeutic procedures
• Coordinate patient care with physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team
• Support general medicine and specialty units as assigned
• Complete required clinical documentation and participate in quality improvement activities

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing
• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• Current NP certification through ANCC, AANP, or another recognized national certifying organization
• Current, valid, unrestricted NP license in any U.S. state or territory
• Minimum of 1 year of NP experience within the past 2 years
• Minimum of 6 months of inpatient experience
• Current BLS and ACLS
• Must successfully complete Government credentialing, privileging, security, and occupational health requirements

Schedule

Providers rotate 11- to 12-hour shifts Monday through Sunday, based on department needs. Scheduled duty will not exceed 80 hours in any two-week period. This is an on-site position.
