Confidential is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our hospice team in Muskogee, OK. This PRN position pays per face-to-face visit with mileage reimbursement, and works within an interdisciplinary group to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
  • Current state licensure and authorization to practice.
  • Current Registered Nurse license (for Nurse Practitioner candidates).
  • Approval by the appropriate state licensing boards to perform medical acts.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Previous clinical, counseling, or patient education experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for acute and chronic conditions.
  • Perform comprehensive physical examinations and preventive health screenings.
  • Order and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic studies.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments within scope of practice.
  • Coordinate referrals and collaborate with physicians and specialists.
  • Conduct follow-up visits to ensure continuity of care.
  • Occasionally perform house calls as needed.
  • Support wellness initiatives through health education, screenings, and preventive programs.
  • Provide employee health services including pre-employment physicals and TB testing.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans.

What You'll Do

As an advanced practice provider, you'll serve as a trusted healthcare partner by delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care in an outpatient setting.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for acute and chronic health conditions.
  • Performing comprehensive physical examinations and preventive health screenings.
