Job summary

LeoForce in Monroe, NC is seeking a mid-level clinician to join our urgent care and primary care team. The role involves examining patients, diagnosing and treating acute conditions, ordering tests, and prescribing medications to develop effective treatment plans.

You will perform minor procedures, educate patients on treatment options, and collaborate with a broader medical team to ensure high-quality care, documenting all notes in the EHR system.

Qualifications

• Performs comprehensive patient assessments, history taking, and exam for acute conditions.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging as appropriate.
• Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans based on best practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, physical exams, and history-taking for acute conditions.
• Diagnose and treat common illnesses and injuries, including infections, fractures, lacerations, and minor burns.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as X-rays, EKGs, and laboratory studies.
• Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans based on best practices and patient needs.
• Perform minor procedures (e.g., suturing, splinting, incision and drainage).
• Provide patient education and counseling on treatment options, medications, and preventive care.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and medical staff to ensure high-quality care.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and ensure documentation compliance.
• Follow urgent care protocols and clinical guidelines to provide efficient and safe care.
