Job summary

CareSpot Urgent Care in Jacksonville, FL is hiring a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a supportive team with a flexible schedule and coastal lifestyle. You will deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced urgent care setting, treating patients of all ages.

Active Florida license (or ability to obtain), 1+ year urgent care/ER/outpatient experience, BLS certification, and passing a Level II AHCA background check are required.

Qualifications

• Board Certified NP or PA in good standing.
• Active Florida license or ability to obtain.
• 1+ year urgent care, ER, family practice, or outpatient experience.
• BLS Certification.
• Ability to pass Level II AHCA background screening.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients of all ages (6mo+) in a fast-paced urgent care setting.
• Order and interpret labs, x-rays and ECG.
• Provide efficient, patient-focused care.

What You’ll Do

• Treat patients of all ages (6mo+) in a fast-paced urgent care setting (averaging 3-4pts per hour)
• Opportunity to pick up overtime shifts, if desired
• Order & interpret labs, x-rays and ECG
• Provide efficient, patient-focused care

What We’re Looking For

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (Board Certified)
• Active Florida license (or ability to obtain)
• 1+ year urgent care, ER, family practice or outpatient experience required
• BLS Certification
• Ability to pass a Level II background screening and clearance through AHCA (Agency for Healthcare Administration) - https://info.flclearinghouse.com/
