Job summary

Life Scan Wellness Centers Early Detection Public Safety Physicals is hiring for full-time and part-time Nurse Practitioners to perform comprehensive physicals, vision and hearing screenings, and to summarize results with appropriate education and referrals. The role requires regular regional and national travel to fire/police departments, excellent communication, leadership, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certification required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
• Technical skills: MS Office, imaging software and EMR platforms.

• Must have a vehicle capable of transporting equipment.
• Willingness to perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• NP conducts head-to-toe physicals.
• Perform vision and hearing screening exams.
• Summarize test results and provide guidance/recommendations (no diagnosis or treatment).
• Interpret lab results with dietary recommendations.

REQUIREMENTS:

**THIS POSITION REQUIRES REGULAR REGIONAL TRAVEL AS WELL AS NATIONAL TRAVEL TO DESIGNATED FIRE/POLICE DEPARTMENT LOCATIONS**
MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• NP conducts head-to-toe physicals


• Perform vision and hearing screening exams


• Summarize all test results (i.e. labs, fitness evaluation and ultrasound) and provide guidance/recommendations on any abnormalities (provide education and referral to PCP if needed – NO diagnosing or treatment)


• Lab interpretation with dietary recommendations
