Job summary

Life Scan Wellness Centers in California is seeking licensed APRN clinicians to perform prevention-based screenings, physicals, and fitness evaluations for firefighters and police officers. This role requires regular regional and national travel to designated departments.

Ideal candidates hold an active APRN license with ACLS/BLS, strong communication and leadership skills, and proficiency with MS Office, imaging software, and EMR platforms.

Qualifications

Active state APRN license.
ACLS and BLS certification required.
Excellent written/verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and leadership skills.
Must have own vehicle capable of carrying equipment.
Willing to travel regionally and nationally to fire/police locations.
Experience with MS Office, imaging software and EMR platforms.

REQUIREMENTS:

Active state APRN license

Strong technical skills to include MS Office, Imaging software and EMR platforms

Have own vehicle that can hold and carry needed equipment
Other duties as assigned

**THIS POSITION REQUIRES REGULAR REGIONAL TRAVEL AS WELL AS NATIONAL TRAVEL TO DESIGNATED FIRE/POLICE DEPARTMENT LOCATIONS**
**MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL**

RESPONSIBILIES:

NP conducts head-to-toe physicals
Perform vision and hearing screening exams
Summarize all test results (i.e. labs, fitness evaluation and ultrasound) and provide guidance/recommendations on any abnormalities (provide education and referral to PCP if needed – NO diagnosing or treatment)
Lab interpretation with dietary recommendations
