Job summary

Pop-Up Talent in Colorado is actively seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our urgent care team across three clinics in Arvada, Thornton, and Lakewood. The role emphasizes high-quality, patient-centered care with onsite lab services and digital X-ray capabilities.

You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and injuries, order tests, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with a knowledgeable clinical team in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Current DEA registration and state-controlled substance certification (as required).
• Board Certified (ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA) manufacturer.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical histories and physical examinations.
• Diagnose and treat acute illnesses, injuries, and urgent medical conditions.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate laboratory, radiology, and diagnostic tests.
• Develop treatment plans, prescribe medications, and provide follow-up care.
• Perform urgent care procedures within your scope of practice.
• Recognize, stabilize, and manage medical emergencies when necessary.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and preventive healthcare.
• Coordinate referrals to specialists or higher levels of care as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, providers, and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and quality care.

• Compensation: $55-$70/hour (based on experience and licensure)

POSITION SUMMARY:

• As an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA), you'll evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with acute illnesses and injuries while working alongside an experienced clinical team. You'll play a key role in delivering efficient, compassionate, evidence-based care and ensuring an exceptional patient experience

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Diagnose and treat acute illnesses, injuries, and urgent medical conditions
• Order, interpret, and evaluate laboratory, radiology, and diagnostic tests
• Develop treatment plans, prescribe medications, and provide follow-up care

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Current DEA registration and state-controlled substance certification (as required)
• Board Certified (ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA)
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Urgent Care or Emergency Room experience (required)
• Ability and willingness to work at all three clinic locations in Arvada, Thornton, and Lakewood
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Professional, compassionate, and team-oriented approach to patient care
