The Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative designated Birthing Center at Columbus Regional Health provides a full range of baby delivery services welcoming over 1,200 babies each year. Each LDRP room boasts state-of the-art equipment and is on the same level as a designated C-Section OR suite. The Birthing Center offers two levels of nursery care and includes a physician lounge equipped with a screen for fetal monitoring of each patient.
Experienced nurse practitioner who has collaborated with an OBGYN physician in a previous role. The nurse practitioner will have their own panel of patients but will also work as an extender to the physicians of the practice. Women's health and EPIC experience are a plus but not a requirement. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire. This position is regularly required to stand, frequently required to walk and push or pull, occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel crouch or crawl, talk or hear, and smell and must frequently lift and/or move greater than 50lbs.
