A local urgent care clinic in Bay City is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to conduct patient assessments and collaborate with healthcare professionals. Qualifications

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice.
• Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Experience in a medical office or clinical setting preferred.
• Experience in a medical office or clinical setting preferred.
• Proficiency in procedures such as phlebotomy, suturing, and I&D.
• Familiarity with NextGen EMR.
• Excellent communication and teamwork with healthcare professionals.
• Ability to provide compassionate care to patients of all ages.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments including medical history and examinations.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans.
• Provide primary care services and manage acute pain.
• Perform procedures such as phlebotomy, suturing, I and D.
• Manage acute pain through appropriate medication management.
• Educate patients on preventive healthcare measures and promote healthy lifestyle choices.
• Utilize electronic medical record systems (such as NextGen) to document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records.

Duties

• Conduct patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
• Provide primary care services, including diagnosing and treating common illnesses and injuries
• Perform procedures such as phlebotomy, suturing, I and D
• Manage acute pain through appropriate medication management
• Educate patients on preventive healthcare measures and promote healthy lifestyle choices
• Utilize electronic medical record systems (such as Nextgen) to document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records

Requirements
