GW MFA in Washington, DC seeks a Nurse Navigator to educate patients about illness and treatment plans and to coordinate care for Infectious Diseases patients. This role provides in-clinic support to clinicians and works with ID teams and referrals.
The Nurse Navigator will handle urgent orders, help with pre-authorizations, track results, and maintain accurate records. A DC RN license and 2+ years RN experience are required, with a focus on patient-centered care.

Position Summary
Under general administrative direction, provides a significant level of patient education related to illness and planned management and treatment and facilitates coordination of care for INFECTIOUS DISEASES patients. In addition, the Nurse Navigator provides in-clinic support to providers, as needed.
