HCA Florida Aventura Hospital is seeking a Nurse Manager Telemetry RN to lead and oversee telemetry nursing services 24/7. You will ensure staffing, scheduling, and resource utilization, while fostering a learning-focused environment and acting as a clinical role model.

The role requires Florida RN licensure, BSN preferred, and demonstrated leadership in an acute care setting with 2+ years of telemetry or NM experience; BLS/ACLS/CPI must be obtained within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• Florida RN license (or compact licensure)
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
• BSN preferred
• BLS/ACLS/CPI certifications available or obtained within specified timelines
• Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience
• Minimum 1 year in a full-time Charge Nurse/Coordinator role in an acute care setting

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Manager Telemetry Coordinates nursing services and accepts organizational accountability for services provided 24/7. The Mgr Telemetry provides leadership and supervision of personnel including fostering a climate conducive to learning and development. Assumes responsibility for staffing and scheduling with appropriate utilization of personnel. Participates in nursing and organizational policy formulation and decision making while serving as a clinical role model. Assures that patients receive appropriate level of care and coordinates resources available to provide the appropriate level of care.

What qualifications you will need

• Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions)
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
• Bachelors Degree from an accredited School of Nursing preferred
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Current Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI) certification or must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care Hospital setting
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a full time Charge Nurse/ Coordinator, Nursing Administrative Supervisor, or Nursing Management in an acute care Hospital setting
