Job summary

Rehabilitation Institute of South San Antionio is seeking an RN Nurse Manager to lead nursing operations in the rehab unit. You will supervise nursing staff, ensure adherence to clinical policies, and partner with leadership to optimize patient care delivery in a busy setting.

Applicants should hold a BSN or higher when possible, have at least two years of rehab nursing and supervisory experience, and hold an active RN license. BCLS required; ACLS/CRRN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing, or Nursing Diploma program.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE

The Nurse Manager is responsible for overseeing nursing operations within an assigned unit, including supervision of nursing staff, ensuring adherence to clinical policies and standards, and collaborating with leadership to optimize patient care delivery. Demonstrates strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

This role requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Education:

Graduate of an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing, or Nursing Diploma program; BSN preferred.

Experience:

Minimum two years of rehab nursing experience and two years of supervisory experience preferred.

License:

Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.

Certifications:

BCLS required; ACLS preferred; CRRN preferred.
