Job summary

Corpus Christi Medical Center Bay Area, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Nurse Manager RN in the Emergency Room. The role oversees clinical and administrative operations, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care and staff collaboration across the ER team.

The position requires RN licensure, ER experience, and certifications (ACLS, BLS, TNCC/ENPC as applicable). This leadership role offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth within HCA’s network.

Qualifications

• ACLS required within 30 days of employment start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification preferred.
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• Current RN license in the state of practice (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in nursing required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, coordinate and evaluate clinical and management activities of the assigned area.
• Facilitate safe patient care by adherence to unit standards of care.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to support nursing care quality.
• Promote teamwork, inter-disciplinary communication and staff development.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Facilitates the development and execution of policies and procedures and unit standards of care. Supports the philosophy of holistic and individualized patient care. What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention
• Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse

• Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree
• Emergency Nurse Pediatric Cour, or PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt
• 3+ years of nursing experience in emergency room setting
