Job summary

Fairfax Behavioral Health (a UHS facility) in Kirkland, WA, is seeking a Nurse Manager to lead patient care activities and supervise RNs and program staff, ensuring the highest level of psychiatric and detox treatment.

The Nurse Manager will collaborate with the leadership team, implement care goals, and support staff development while providing physical and psychological support for patients and families.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required with state board.
• CPR certification within 90 days of employment.
• Management experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.
• Knowledge of Joint Commission/CMS, State and Federal regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee patient care activities and ensure high standards of clinical quality.
• Direct and supervise nursing staff and program staff; coordinate with leadership to set goals for patient care.
• Develop staff through training and supervision to enhance patient and family support.
