Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency in Missouri seeks an experienced Nurse Manager to oversee a 43-bed acute medicine unit. You will lead staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and regulatory readiness to ensure safe, high-quality care.

Responsibilities include audits, staff development, disciplinary actions, onboarding, and coordinating physician and bed management issues. The role requires RN licensure and 2–5 years of supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• RN license required; Nursing Diploma or an Associate's degree required.
• 2–5 years of nursing experience; supervisor experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred; 5–10 years of experience; less than 2 years in supervision is noted as a consideration.

Responsibilities

• Participate in budgeting and respond to business changes to meet financial goals.
• Analyze patient outcomes, audits, and reporting to identify trends and develop action plans.
• Ensure staff meet competency and regulatory requirements through audits and corrective actions.
• Manage staffing levels, approving payroll, and coordinating staff communications and meetings.
• Hiring, onboarding, training, evaluating performance, and managing disciplinary actions for staff.
