Job summary

CoxHealth in Springfield, Missouri, is seeking an experienced registered nurse to join the Maternity team. You will assess patient needs, plan and deliver care, and guide the care team toward optimal outcomes in line with the Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy.

Required: Missouri RN license; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. Preferred: five years of clinical experience, one year as charge nurse, and maternity specialty.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is required.
• Missouri RN license must be active.
• 5+ years of clinical experience with 1 year as charge nurse preferred.
• Maternity specialty experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess needs, plan care, and evaluate outcomes.
• Provide direct and indirect patient care and lead the care team toward goals.
• Ensure compliance with Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy.
