Job summary

MultiCare Health System is seeking a Nurse Manager for the Mother/Baby unit in Yakima, WA. The role leads nursing staff, drives patient care standards, and oversees department operations to deliver safe, efficient care.

Required: BSN or equivalent and WA RN license; 15+ years clinical experience with 3+ years in a supervisory role; MSN/PhD/DNP/ARNP preferred. FTE 1.0, shift M-F, schedule 8:00–16:30. Yakima Memorial Hospital affiliation noted.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required or obtained within five years from hire date.
• RN with 15+ years of service or internal candidates hired before Jan 1, 2021 may be considered in satisfaction of the education requirement.
• Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse license in Washington State or Multistate MLS endorsement.
• Five years of clinical experience in a professional/technical role preferred.
• Three years of supervisory or lead experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define, develop, and monitor standards of patient care and nursing practices.
• Ensure availability and appropriate allocation of human and material resources.
• Foster collaboration between nursing, physicians, and other disciplines to achieve patient care outcomes and unit plans.
• Coordinate operations of assigned units and resource provision.
• Facilitate cost-efficient and high-quality patient care delivery.

As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $146,409.12 - $202,194.72 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
