Qualifications

• BSN required; RN licensure in NC.
• Board certification in area of practice preferred.
• Graduate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Staffing & scheduling operations — build reliable coverage models and the unit's staffing plan.
• Team engagement & retention — develop onboarding, mentorship, and retention strategies for the unit staff.
• Patient experience leadership — implement practices that elevate the patient experience of care.
• Quality & safety — own infection prevention and safety metrics in partnership with Quality.
• Talent development — coach three Assistant Nurse Managers into competent unit leaders.
• Budget management — manage the unit's operating budget and staffing spend.
• Strategic partnership — work with the CNO on capacity planning and service enhancements.
