Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years leadership experience at hire.
• Registered Nurse license in Texas at hire.
• BLS/CPR within 14 days; ACLS within 6 months; PALS within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Support and actualizes the Division of Nursing philosophy and goals by assuming leadership in program development and implementation.
• Staff is developed to assume leadership roles both formally and informally, via role modeling and facilitating staff participation in shared governance structure.
• Facilitates development and implementation to solution to problems.
• Develops and implements effective communication channels to provide information to all staff members, holding at least one unit meeting per month with posting of minutes and notice.
• Directs and participates in orientation of new employees, evaluates programs affecting employees.
