Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program; Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
• Three years of recent clinical experience; two years of leadership/managerial experience preferred.
• Must hold Tennessee State registered nurse license.

Responsibilities

• Directs nursing staff; selects, trains, orients, develops and evaluates performance.
• Develops departmental budgets and administers operations within budget.
• Maintains operational reports and collects data for admin/regulatory purposes.
• Coordinates and reports outcomes of nursing activities to ensure quality care.
• Promotes safe environment and evidence-based practice across the unit.
• Collaborates with medical staff and other departments to achieve goals.
