Job summary

University Health System- San Antonio is seeking an experienced registered nurse in a leadership role to manage staff and coordinate patient care in a fast-paced setting.

You will work collaboratively with all clinicians, mentor staff, and report to a Nurse Manager, Nursing Director or Administrative Director; BSN required, Texas RN license, and national certification preferred, with three years of hospital/clinic experience.

Qualifications

• RN with Texas license
• BSN degree required
• National certification in related field required (e.g., CCTC, CCTN)
• Minimum three years of hospital or clinic experience
• BLS/CPR per American Heart Association guidelines

Responsibilities

• Provide expert leadership in staff management and coordination of patient care.
• Collaborate with all healthcare providers and non-healthcare professionals.
• Mentor and serve as a role model for staff; report to Nurse Manager, Nursing Director or Administrative Director.
