Job summary

Signet Health Corp. is seeking a Nurse Manager to lead Night and Weekend operations at Permian Basin Behavioral Health Center in Midland, TX. The role emphasizes trauma‑informed care, patient safety, and regulatory compliance under DNV and HHSC guidelines.

The Nurse Manager will supervise RNs, LVNs, and MHT/BHT staff, oversee daily clinical operations, and drive quality outcomes while managing staffing and budgets in a new, dedicated behavioral health hospital.

Qualifications

• BSN required; MSN preferred.
• Texas RN license required (unencumbered).
• BLS certification required; CPI or equivalent de-escalation certification required or obtained shortly after hire.
• Minimum 5 years of acute psychiatric/behavioral health nursing experience.
• At least 3 years of leadership experience (Charge RN, Nurse Supervisor, Nurse Manager).

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day nursing operations for inpatient behavioral health units.
• Ensure staffing levels align with acuity and Texas regulations.
• Round on units multiple times daily to ensure care standards and safety.
• Supervise and mentor Charge Nurses, RNs, LVNs, and MHT/BHT staff.
• Lead new hire orientation and ongoing education for nursing staff.
• Promote trauma-informed care and Just Culture principles.
• Partner with Quality/Risk to address patient safety events and regulatory readiness.
