The ideal candidate has strong management experience, RN licensure, and MSN consideration; BLS is required. The facility operates 24/7 with a strong focus on safe, cost-effective patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN licensure in appropriate state.
• MSN preferred; MSN required within 5 years if undergrad degree is not BSN.
• Enrollment in MSN within 1 year of hire/transfer and graduation within 5 years.
• If undergraduate degree is BSN, master's in health-related field or MBA acceptable.
• Previous management experience preferred.
• BLS required; professional certification within 1 year of eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations for the ED/Observation unit.
• Lead a team of Clinical Supervisors, RNs, and Psych Techs.
• Ensure compliance with Nursing Practice Act and regulatory standards.
• Recruit and retain qualified staff; ensure orientation and development.
• Delegate effectively and promote shared governance.
• Provide nursing care and administer medications as needed.
• Support performance improvement activities to enhance quality and cost-effectiveness.
