Job summary

Aspen Grove Behavioral Hospital in Utah is seeking a Nurse Manager - Behavioral Health to oversee nursing staff, coordinate patient care, and uphold standards of care in a psych/detox inpatient setting. You will supervise House Supervisors, RNs and MHTs and assist the CNO and DON/ADON with scheduling and training.

Qualifications

• Valid Utah RN license or license authorized to practice in Utah.
• ASN required; BSN highly preferred.
• 3-5 years' experience in psych/detox inpatient setting required; 5-8 years' preferred.
• Passion for helping others rediscover their 'hope'.
• Knowledge of psychiatric and medical nursing procedures.
• Must be at least 21 years old and pass background check & drug screen.

• Coordinated delivery of patient care in accordance with established standards of care, mental health practice and hospital policy.
• Supervise House Supervisors, RNs and MHTs and contribute to hospital philosophy and performance improvement.
• Assist the CNO in schedulingStaff scheduling filing and tracking.
• Assist the DON/ADON in evaluating and implementing staff training and hospital training events.
• Provide patient nursing assessments and participate in Treatment Team meetings as needed.

Shift: Full-Time Salaried Exempt - Monday-Friday with weekend rounding

Salary: Exempt salary will be based on education and years of nursing and supervisory experience

Your role and responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring coordinated delivery of patient care in accordance with the established standards of care, mental health practice and hospital policy, goals and objectives.
• Assists in contributing to the hospital’s philosophy, objectives, educational and Performance & Improvement efforts, while providing supervision of House Supervisors, RN’s and MHTs.
• Assist the CNO in filing, tracking and implementing staff scheduling.
• Assisting the DON/ADON in evaluating, reviewing, designing and implementing hospital training events with respect to all RN//MHT staff required training.
• Also provides patient nursing assessments and participates in Treatment Team meetings on as-needed basis

Qualifications
