Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Nurse Manager to lead nursing care and supervision within an inpatient rehabilitation setting. You will ensure care is delivered with compassion, guided by procedures, and supported by a collaborative team.

The role emphasizes leadership and overseeing staff to maintain high-quality patient outcomes, with a focus on seamless care delivery and continued professional development.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure required by state regulations.
• BSN degree preferred; ACLS/CRRN certifications encouraged.
• CRRN certification within one year of starting.
• ACLS certification within one year of starting.
• 5 years of nursing experience with 2 years in an inpatient setting.
• Previous leadership role with accountability for patient and staff results.

Responsibilities

• Supervises nursing care, treatment, and services on assigned shift or unit.
• Ensures all patient care activities are completed as required.
• Assigns the necessary nursing personnel and ensures presence.
• Identifies training needs and resources for staff.
• Celebrates patient victories along the way.
