Job summary

Archbold Medical Center seeks a Nurse Manager for the Labor & Delivery unit. The role requires a Georgia-licensed Registered Nurse with BLS certification and 3–5 years as a staff nurse, plus preferred experience as an Assistant Nurse Manager.

Strong leadership and teamwork are essential to lead a busy maternity service. The Nurse Manager will supervise all nursing personnel in L&D, collaborate with the Director of Nursing, and ensure high-quality patient care and a safe, supportive work

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of Professional Nursing.
• Licensed in the state of Georgia as a Registered Nurse.
• Certification in Basic Life Support as required by policy.
• 3-5 years experience as staff nurse; 1 year experience as Assistant Nurse Manager preferred.

Nurse Manager - L&D (Archbold Grady)

Education Requirements: Graduate of a school of Professional Nursing. Licensed in the state of Georgia as a Registered Nurse. Certification in Basic Life Support as required by policy.

Experience: 3-5 years experience as staff nurse. Prefer 1 year experience as Assistant Nurse Manager.

Must demonstrate outstanding leadership ability. Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Must possess the ability to learn basic computer. Must demonstrate competency in basic nursing skills. Ability to handle jbo stress and interact effectively with others in the workplace as essential functions of the job. Honesty and maintaining a professional composure are important aspects of the job.

Physical Demands: Good physical and mental health.

Supervises: All nursing personnel assigned to the unit.

Supervised By: Director of Nursing

Registered Nurse Core Utilizes the nursing process in planning or providing care for patients/residents ages (adolescent, adult and geriatric). Supervises and oversees operations and functions of the Labor & Delivery department.
