Job summary

Banyan Treatment Centers is expanding its nursing team at our Laurel Run, PA facility. We seek dedicated LPNs and RNs to support patients undergoing treatment for substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions, ensuring high-quality care and compliance.

You will conduct assessments, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop measurable treatment plans and post-discharge recovery steps.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted PA LPN or RN license.
• Nursing degree/diploma from accredited school.
• Strong assessment and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent communication.
• Knowledge of healthcare ethics and confidentiality.
• Familiarity with Joint Commission Standards.
• Experience in behavioral health settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments including ASAM forms.
• Provide routine nursing care across levels of care.
• Identify treatment needs and translate into measurable plans.
• Complete nursing documentation per facility and state rules.
• Review medication logs and assist the medical department.
• Administer medications as directed by medical providers.
• Provide medication education and integrate issues into treatment plans.
• Coordinate with patients, families, and referrals for post-discharge plans.
• Apply clinical judgment in crisis, including risk assessments and de-escalation.
• Tailor nursing approaches to diverse patient needs.
• Build rapport and trust with patients.
