Progressive Directions, Inc. (PDI) in Dover, TN is seeking a compassionate LPN or RN for a PRN nursing role.

Qualifications

• Active license in good standing as an LPN issued by Tennessee or Nursing Compact state
• BLS certification is required
• Prior experience with individuals with disabilities is a plus, but we provide training
• Current and valid unrestricted driver’s license
• Reliable transportation
• Satisfactory background check and drug test
• Negative TB test

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate nursing care as prescribed by physicians
• Implement and monitor Individualized Health Care Plans and Medical Crisis Plans
• Assist with daily living activities to promote comfort and independence
• Administer medications and maintain accurate records
• Track vital signs, seizures, intake/output, and other clinical data
• Review MARs and report variances promptly
• Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and direct support staff
• Accompany individuals to medical appointments and ensure follow-up on referrals and tests
• Support therapy plans and ensure assistive devices are safe and functional
• Mentor new staff on health-related plans and documentation
