Overview
Our Pocono Skilled Nursing Office is seeking a nurse who has a passion for care to join our Skilled Nursing team. We believe our clients and their families deserve the highest quality care delivered with compassion, excellence, and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Care for private duty pediatric and teen clients in home settings, including 1:1 and 1:2 cases in Stroudsburg, with experiences such as caring for a teenager with a catheter, epilepsy, spina bifida, autism, transfers, and G-tube and O2 care for infants.
- Shift coverage as available, including day shift (10A-6P), evening shift (4P-11P), or overnight full-time (as applicable for chronic respiratory failure cases).
- Travel to one client home near you on a schedule you choose.
- Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors\' orders.
- Perform assessments and monitor clients\' conditions.
- Document observations, interventions, and evaluations.
- Provide care with autonomy in the home while adhering to professional standards.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma.
- A current nursing license in good standing in the state.
