Job summary
Trillium Health Resources is seeking a Nurse Manager, Utilization Management – Physical Health to lead day-to-day utilization management operations and oversee authorization and clinical review workflows for our North Carolina service area.
The role requires an RN with NC licensure and willingness to travel within the catchment; remote work options are available for many positions. Competitive benefits and opportunities for growth are provided.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Nursing and three (3) years of RN experience in utilization review or utilization management.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing with at least one (1) year RN experience in utilization review/management.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Active North Carolina RN license.
- Must have a valid driver’s license; must reside in North Carolina and be able to travel within catchment.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day utilization management operations and oversee authorization workflows.
- Manage staff workload to ensure timely completion of authorizations.
- Monitor turnaround times, decision accuracy, and documentation quality across the team.
- Provide clinical guidance on complex authorization issues.
- Resolve provider concerns and escalations related to authorizations.
