Job summary

Yale New Haven Health's Bridgeport Hospital seeks a Registered Nurse for an acute care unit. You will assess patient needs, coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team, and ensure care plans align with hospital standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Baccalaureate education - nursing major preferred.
• ANM may require ongoing education hours (10 annually for degreed ANM; 6 credit hours + 6 hours for non-degreed ANM).

Responsibilities

• Assess health care needs and conduct interviews.
• Initiate Interdisciplinary Plan of Care (IPOC) using initial assessments and guidelines.
• Prioritize patient care based on assessments.
• Evaluate patient responses to interventions and document outcomes.
• Assist Nurse Manager with monthly/weekly documentation reviews.
• Demonstrate leadership and serve as a staff resource.
