Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is required.
• Current RN licensure in Virginia or eligible compact state.

Responsibilities

• Supervises care by maintaining high visibility to patients/families and staff.
• Collaborates with leadership on recruitment, retention, coaching, training, and scheduling.
• Provides leadership and serves as a resource for patient care and unit activities.
• Ensure educational requirements and clinical competencies are maintained for staff.
• Coordinate staffing models and workflow to optimize clinic capacity and patient flow.
• Lead or participate in performance improvement and evidence-based practice projects.
• Foster a holistic, patient-centered care environment and maintain safety.
• Collaborate to ensure regulatory standards are adhered to (CMS, Joint Commission, etc.).
