Qualifications

• Demonstrates leadership in managing complex patient care and planning discharge.
• English language proficiency for direct patient care as required by VA policy.
• BSN or higher nursing degree with current license in the U.S. required.
• May include bridge programs leading to licensure and state certification.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates nursing care during weekends, holidays, and after-hours.
• Leads utilization of nursing processes aligning with ANA standards.
• Mentors staff through precepting and teaching to improve patient outcomes.
• Ensures continuity of care and peer accountability for practice.
