Job summary

Southern Health Partners is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team at the Jefferson County Jail in Wisconsin as an RN Medical Team Administrator. This role blends hands-on nursing care with administrative oversight and requires leadership across healthcare operations in a correctional setting.

You will provide clinical oversight, coordinate services, and serve as the primary nursing leader for the facility, with an on-call rotation to support operations and ensure continuity of care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, assessments, and nursing interventions
• Coordinate daily healthcare operations and ensure continuity of care between shifts
• Serve as the primary nursing leader and clinical resource for the facility
• Collaborate with providers, correctional staff, and Southern Health Partners leadership to deliver quality patient care
• Review documentation, monitor compliance, and maintain accurate medical records
• Support and coordinate activities with the facility's nursing staff member working the alternate rotation
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
• Participate in an on-call rotation to address clinical concerns, provide guidance, and support facility operations as needed
• Ensure compliance with company policies, correctional healthcare standards, and regulatory requirements
