Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Nurse Intern to provide basic nursing care under the direct supervision of a registered nurse. You will work within a team to support patient care, maintain flexibility for changing assignments, and promote collaborative teamwork during each shift.

Active enrollment in a nursing program (ADN/BSN) with NCLEX readiness within 90 days, plus BLS. This role is within a faith-based system committed to compassionate care and professional growth.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent (High School, GED, Cert).
• Active enrollment in a nursing program (ADN/BSN) and ability to pass NCLEX within 90 days after graduation.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Max 15 months in the Nurse Intern role.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic nursing procedures under direct supervision of the registered nurse.
• Maintain flexibility for rapidly changing assignments.
• Be accountable to the nurses for all patient care given during a shift.
• Promote teamwork among co-workers.
