Job summary

Lake Ridge Post Acute in Moses Lake, WA is seeking a CNA Instructor to plan, develop, teach and coordinate the certified nursing assistant training program. You will supervise students and help implement orientation for the nurse aide program.

Qualified candidates are RN licensed with 2+ years of clinical experience, including long-term care/geriatric nursing, and the ability to teach adult learners or supervise nurse aides. BLS and state CPR requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited School of Nursing with current RN licensure.
• Minimum 2 years full-time or equivalent clinical experience, plus 1–2 years in long-term care/geriatric nursing.
• Ability to teach adult students or supervise nurse aides.
• Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS).
• CPR certification as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, teach and coordinate the certified nursing assistant training program.
• Supervise, monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing assistant students.

• Must complete a course that focuses on teaching adult students, have experience in teaching adult students or supervising nurse aides (State or Regulatory Agency requirements may vary).
• Must maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS).
• CPR certification required per State Specific Requirements.
