Qualifications

• Proficient in English as required by 38 U.S.C. 7403(f).
• Graduate of a nursing program approved by an accrediting body (ACEN/CCNE) or a BSN bridge option.
• Current, full, active, and unrestricted RN registration in a US state or DC.
• GNT exception allows temp appointment while pursuing licensure in some cases.
• Grandfathering provisions apply for current VHA 0610 staff as of 1/29/2024.
• Preferred: degree in Informatics, MSN, and/or 1 year in Informatics.
