Job summary

The Sioux Falls VA Health Care System seeks a Nurse Informaticist to optimize clinical workflows and support Federal Electronic Health Record initiatives. You will strengthen data quality, enhance decision support, and train end users while collaborating with clinical, informatics, and technology partners to improve system usability and care delivery across VA.

Qualifications

• English language proficiency required per 38 U.S.C. 7403(f).
• Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by a relevant accrediting agency (ACEN/CCNE).
• Current, full, active, and unrestricted licensure as a registered nurse in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Optimize clinical workflows and support Federal EHR initiatives.
• Strengthen data quality and decision support; engage and train end users.
• Collaborate with clinical, informatics and technology partners to improve system performance and care delivery across VA.
