Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina seeks a Patient Care Assistant to support the nursing team in daily patient care activities, comfort, and safety, ensuring respectful, compassionate care.

You will assist with personal hygiene, dressing, mobility, and feeding, help transport to tests and procedures, and record basic measurements under supervision. This PRN position also supports meal service and comfort rounds throughout a shift.
