Job summary

Eastside Medical Center is seeking a Nurse Extern to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will work with patients from birth through the lifecycle, applying treatments, procedures and equipment appropriate for a pre-licensure nurse within hospital policy.

Must have a graduation date of December 2027 and have completed the first Med/Surg rotation. BCLS certification is required. This role offers hands-on clinical exposure in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Student enrolled in an accredited nursing program and has completed the first Med/Surg rotation.
• Graduation expected December 2027.
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Utilize treatments, procedures and equipment appropriate to the pre-licensure nurse in the clinical setting per hospital policy.
• Adhere to hospital policies and participate in patient care activities as assigned.
